March 2024 – Bonbon is born

90% of Belted Galloways are black and white, the rest are either “dun” (fudge coloured) or “red” (a rich dark reddish brown). We like these rarer colours and 1/3 of ours are either dun or red. Bonbon is dun, but when calves are born they are somewhere between slate grey and lavender, they only change to dun later on.
